18. I somehow don't like the expression "earned" a purple heart
received is more to my liking. I'm just weird I guess but earning to me means putting forth some effort to obtain something. Granted effort was put forth but not to obtain a purple heart just to do the job. Who knows maybe the purple heart (I'm not referring to Kerry) was because the person totally screwed up and created the incident.
