"These people are up to SOMETHING evil!" The day the House was debating this bill.....he laughed at me. :( I told him..."This is NOT funny. These people are evil and they are up to SOMETHING." The constitution states that there will be a "special election" within 45 days of the death of a House member. The Dems wanted to change the constitution to state that the Governor of the State from where the House member is from can appoint someone from a list given to the Governor by the House member. The repukes refused saying that the constitution should not be changed because "this is the "peoples House" they must be ELECTED. "IF AN ELECTION IS NOT POSSIBLE, WE HAVE THE PRESIDENT TO APPOINT THE HOUSE MEMBER." LIGHT BULBS!!!! Hello! Light bulbs went off in my head! These people are up to NO GOOD! I did NOT know they passed this other bill calling for immediate elections! I thought they were just debating the Dem bill to change the Consttution. :cry: SURELY the Senate will not pass that bill?

The US Congress ought to be particularly concerned, since one of the most plausible coup scenarios features the destruction of the US Capitol and its adjacent office buildings, exterminating large numbers of Senators, Congressmen, and staff. Incredibly, the Congress is conniving in its own liquidation through the bill ordering instant elections to replace deceased Congressmen which has been passed by the House and is now making its way into law. The gullible lawmakers would seem to be signing their own death warrant, since if there is anything that would facilitate the erection of a police state, it is the lack of an intact and functioning legislative branch - a fact illustrated all too well by the Nazi burning of the German Reichstag shortly after Hitler’s seizure of power. But will the Congress act?
