1. THEY DON'T GIVE A DAMN
if they are caught stealing an election or not. Didn't bother them in 2000 or 2002. Won't bother them now. What they're about now is securing and increasing power with little concern for how that is accomplished.

Face it. You already live in a military dictatorship, and those in charge are not going to give up what they've gained. Oh, they might actually go ahead and conduct elections for the sake of maintaining the myth of popular democracy. You can fool most of the people most of the time, and they've been doing pretty well at that.

If they do feel the need for elections, the outcome will be fixed. They've learned well how. And, even if they do manage to slip up, why, the other side can be bought or cajoled to subservience as well.

So, who you for in 2004? Well, I'm for this guy, or that guy, or...............Maybe there's a different way to go about this.
