6. I left Boston
..just as the Big Dig was starting. Boston seems to have changed drastically, and not for the better, since I left. Right wing scum like that would have faced so many negative phone calls and letters while I was there that he'd have been on the unemployment line the next day.

I knew the city was getting Yuppiefied and gentrified to death when I left, which is one reason I did. I didn't realize how Lamebawlized those yuppies had made it.
