There is NO reason a "popular wartime president" should have to run ads in his "home state". He should have it so locked up that it would seem like a waste of money to air ads there.
I know he has the big money advantage, but if he was doing well, he should be able to use it in states he has to swing. Texas should already be a lock ( it almost certainly is). If he's blitzing ads there, he is in BIG trouble.

I haven't seen any ads for either. I try not to turn on the tv at all, and the radio here in socal hasn't been hit yet as far as I can tell.
