The fact is that he was with those same inspection teams and saw the underhanded way that David Kay conducted himself. Weapons inspectors served the purpose of denying Iraq the sovereign right to detain spies. In other words they over-reached their mandate.
Ritter has basically said that when new facts came to light he allowed those new facts to enter into his reading of the situation. Unfortunately I do not remember the interview in which he was confronted about these supposed "flip-flops." I remember thinking to myself "oh no, another warrior bites the dust because he changed his mind." but then he blasted the question out of the park. Can anyone remind me of his answer to the charges that he "flip-flopped"
