18. Reading the Tocq, are you?
There's a good use of your time. :puke:

It is, alas, no more. Out of business, and dead as a doornail, not that it's missed by many.

Gene Royer, the writer of these comments, is not really such a bad guy, and does tend to have fun trolling with this sort of stuff. He used to have tons of fun on usenet groups riling up us filthy, godless comminnists with this nonsense on a regular basis. I think he has a job now, so he's heard from less lately. He goes over the edge sometimes, and it's tough to know how much of this crap he really believes. He does put on a good show, though. One of the best trolls I've seen in a long time.

Wayne Lutz, good friend of Royer, and the proprietor of the late, unlamented Tocq, is still around and has been otherwise busy at more "productive" ventures:

I have personally met Wayne and a number of his "editorial" staff, and they're actually not bad people, most of the time. I shall forego repeating some nasty gossip (but be a punk and let you guess anyway, just by mentioning that some exists) and simply say that if you leave politics out of it, (not that difficult, really) they are not bad people to hang out with at a party.

They are, however, most deinitely very, very, rightwing.
