30. Let me clarify -- and I guess my point is really for Bev
It's one thing to have it all buried in various places, it's another thing for Bev to pull it together as a story and do one of her magic fax blasts. ;-)

I've just spent what felt like multiple hours reading the interviews, some of which I've seen before, and no reporter is going to go through that without some impetus like a story that makes them curious to see what was actually said. Today's journalists seem to be a particularly lazy lot.

Inasmuch as one of their chief rebuttals at the moment, as you well know, is to hide behind these "rigorous" and "extensive" certifications processes that don't seem to actually exist. We know of no proof or validation that ANYone, anywhere has done a line-by-line examination of the code -- til now (Bev's researchers and the Johns Hopkins/Rice team). IOW, certification is a joke. The states don't seem to be doing it, and there's no indication it's done by those famous "labs" either.

And if Diebold and the State of Georgia and others are going to hide behind certification, it's time to yank out the scandal THAT is. IMO.
