Even the Pope stated Afghanistan was a just war. Clinton wanted to send special ops into Afghanistan to get bin Laden when he was President, but was denied by the Pentagon. The choice for war was pretty clear cut in Afghanistan. The choice for war in Iraq was not.
Sorry, when anyone says that they opposed the war in Afghanistan, it seems like they are too idealistic and not realistic enough.
