Len Downie on CNN: It's CARD!

Okay, I posted this before and people said Card was IDed in the Post article. Have I had a brain glitch, or is this new info on CNN from Downie, the editor of the Post, Woodward's boss?

At first, Downie was spinning like a top to Wolf, defending Woodward for protecting his sources. Then he said the Post would identify Card as the second source (Libby already identified), and a third source remains unidentified.

ON EDIT: Begala just said to Wolf Blitzer that Blitzer got out of Downie that Card was a source, and that is big news.

ON EDIT AGAIN: Please see seafan's post 12 for a mention of Card in the article today about Woodward's apology to the Post. I don't know how I missed that (posted the article myself), and this was news to me, and, I think, was news to Begala and Blitzer.

ANOTHER EDIT: Now there is confusion over Woodward's conversation with Card, although there is no question that there was a conversation.

ONE LAST EDIT: I apologize for the confusion in this post. I look forward to more clarification as more information comes to light.
