The * are eagerly anticipating the avian flu pandemic -- but won't wait. Someone will release diseases into the population (such as tularemia at the anti-war march) so that they can claim 'avian flu,' blame terrorists/domestic radical groups/unions and set in motion a militarized police state. (Additional possibility: Someone commits bioterrorism and the *'s blame it on Iran so they can invade Iran and impose militarized police state in the states).

Congressman Ron Paul has accused the Bush administration of attempting to set in motion a militarized police state in America by enacting gun confiscation martial law provisions in the event of an avian flu pandemic.
