"If we can raise $20,000, we will bring at least five Katrina survivors to Washington, DC this month to meet face-to-face with politicians and the news media -- to press them for a straight answer on a vital question: “Are Washington politicians rebuilding the Gulf Coast for their wealthy friends, or the people of the Gulf?” If we can raise more than $20,000, we will make sure that additional Katrina survivors get to DC to press politicians directly for the answers and solutions they deserve."
