He's a decent demagogue, so one can almost believe his 'I'm fighting for the common man' routine. Until, that is, someone mentions Al Franken. Then he's ranting about how the entire system is out to get him, and how anyone who dares defend Franken's right (under the 1st Ammendment) to write satire must be intellectually dishonest, a paid DLC shill, sleeping with Franken's sister, or all of the above.

He's definitely a skilled marketer, though. Did you hear how many times he said the title of his new book? He gets a Murdoch biscuit for that.
