54 people showed up. That's a pretty good turnout for this area.
There was ONE (1) counter-protestor. Our hostess went up and offered to shake his hand in friendship and he told her that WE were desecrating our country and that we obviously "hated America". I didn't check but I'm pretty sure he had kool-aid stains on his shirt. We stayed an hour...had trouble keeping candles lighted even though there was just a small breeze...got a lot of honks and thumbs up along with a few "Republican one-fingered-victory salutes."
