I've been signed up for the "election reform" meetup for many months now but there's never been a meeting. I think the problem is that the folks who are signed up (all 3 of us in Minneapolis) don't select a venue.

So, today I selected a venue AND I indicated that I would "host" the event. Hope there is someone else there for me to be a "host" for! Well, I did email an activist acquaintance of mine (who works on the IRV issue), and hopefully he'll sign up.

All us hundreds of DUers who have been active on this issue for so many months should take the events of the past week (how long has it been since we first saw the Diebold emails?) as an impetus to hit the streets and MEET with like-minded activists. There is only so much we can do from in front of our computers. At some point we need to get out there.
