To me this is the same as saying that 'Our rhetoric will now bear fruit', this the ceremony of holding on to ones ill gotten piece of the pie. He might very well be a breed of weasel but he would never be able to get away with it without the triangulations of the sides that wish to cling privilege and power and others who are scared and hope it doesn't get worse.
