then someone's rhetoric has just lost 99% of its efficiency. That's the problem with the bogey-man: you're not supposed to kill him. Everything's supposed to get better once the bogey-man is dead. Every horror film concludes with the re-emergence of the bogey-man, usually in an oblique way. We then get the sequel. Maybe Iran is our sequel. Does that make Saddam the prequel? Ugh.
