--She was the one who interviewed the "poised" Bush twins last year <gag> for Vogue.

"...Reed learned poise growing up in Greenville, Mississippi, in a prominent Delta family. She first met George W. Bush at a Delta wedding in 1976, according to First Son, a Bush biography by Bill Minutaglio.

In the book, Reed is quoted describing young George as having “a preppy scoundrel” demeanor. He showed up at the party of Yalies and Southern clans wearing Gucci loafers and puffing on expensive cigars.

“That wedding was wild,” Reed said. “All the ladies were crazy over him.”..."
