Our involvement in Vietnam was as criminal and evil as our current criminal invasion of Iraq.

As hard as it is to say "Yes, but..." would you have been able to take five years of torture?

As much as that war sucked, (like virtually all wars do), you can't blame McCain for getting us involved, or for following his family's military tradition. After all, it took most Americans a few year to finally "get it" in regard to Vietnam.

But it still begs the question: WTF is going on in John McCain's mind?
