HST's family is probably very different from yours, and from the ones who are busily erecting verbal shrines to him. People observe death in all sorts of ways. Some might find it strange that bodies are drained of blood, stuffed with chemicals, fixed up with makeup, dressed up, and put on display. Others might find it strange that there are religious rituals that require fellow Jews to sit all right with the enshrouded body until the burial.

So, the Thompson family doesn't share your orientation towards death.
