I AM VERY SORRY. a repeantent conservatives appologies

I am writing this to all of you to let you know how sorry I am about the election. I am a student at Indiana University. I am from a suburb of Indianapolis, Carmel for those of you familiar with Indiana. Basically how things work there is when you turn 18 you do two things register for the selective service and then the Republican party.

I am not really a political person but I want to go to law school. So this year I have been doing stuff with the CRs so I can have some stuff on my resume. Two weeks ago I signed up to be a poll observer for the Republicans. I was selected for a heavily democratic district.

I WAS SO APALED BY WHAT HAPPEN ON ELECTION DAY! I got their like a minute late at 6:01 in the morning. There was a huge line that was not moving anywhere. I got in and asked the other GOP observer what was going on. With a smirk on his face he said one of the machines was broken. When I asked him why it was funny he said because were clogging the phone lines so they cant talk to the people who would get it fixed.

So it ended up taking about 3 hrs. to get it fixed and the lines were so long. I saw tones of people leave.

Wait it gets worse.

Through out the day he gave miss information and some out right lies to people in line. For example telling them that they were at the wrong precinct and well you get the point. I was just in shock, I would normally of confronted him about it. But this went on all day.

So I thought that maybe that this was just one jerk. But that night we drove north for the big Indiana GOP post election thing. I heard similar stories all night. Even from people who go to my church. I just could not believe it and know how these people look in the mirror.

All of this to say, I am very sorry. I don’t know how these other wise good people do this. And I am sorry that I did not stand up to them.

You all probably hate me and with good cause. But I just want you to know that all the church going evangelical christens are not bad. If most of them saw what I saw they would not stand for it.

So if you want to tell me how evil I am here is your chance.
