We'll have to agree to disagree on this one. I'm of the opinion that the whole humiliating shebang during the Clinton administration was a base coat of whitewash. By convincing the public that everyone BESIDES them cared more about BJ's than employment, they paved the way to steal the 2000 election and get away with it.
Call me a conspiracy theorist, maybe I am. Again, this is just my personal perception of it all.
