5. Beautifully said. Send it to the NYT! They are struggling
hard to look like they are covering this historical event, while making sure the way they word the coverage, is dismissive enough they hope it will please their bosses. Probably, as always happens when you try to please everyone, they will end up pleasing no one.

Maybe a few of them will quit. And maybe now the people can begin to develop their own media. There are enough talented journalists who will not be hired in this country, because they really are journalists. Maybe this is their time. I hope a group is formed by the Occupiers to look into publishing a national news paper that accurately reports on what is really going on, without the moral equivalent tactic when the oligarchs don't look good and there's no way to say they are, so they pretend that 'both sides are doing it'.

Ignoring this historical story is probably going to cost the media in the long run. We have moved on and in fact it is better that they do not cover it, as is clear from today's NYT effort. They don't work for the people.
