Reply #9: Why is this so shocking, when Media mocks our own prison system which promotes the same behavior?

For many years, Hollywood has consistently painted a picture of violence, sodomy and abuse within the prison system as if it was a given. The references to this sort of treatment are nearly universal, and Americans laugh about it, "Because it will never happen to them" because they assume that they are law abiding citizens and that sort of nonsense.

This lack of empathy and concern over this serious problem allows this sort of degenerate behavior to flourish and gain traction. We are now seeing the result of it by encountering the product of this pathological generalized acceptance of the "Normal" behavior experienced in prison.

America has a long history of repression truly free Human Sexuality, and the repression causes so much neurosis that most Americans would not know true love if it bit them on the ass. All Americans are focused on is the Act itself, whether it is fulfilling or not. Unfortunately, with all the stigma's and phobias and repression instlled into the Average American by Family, Church and State, most Americans are unable to be truly sexual, so it manifests itself in psychotic behavior, brutality, sadism and all the other outlets that a repressed sexuality can find to escape it's prison.

Wilhelm Reich was right. This mass neurosis was identified by him in the late 30's as one of the major cause for the rise of the Nazi's, and reading his thoughts today paints a pretty vivid image of the reality of the American social structure today.

The Religious right, with it's focus on Abstinence, Right to Life and preoccupation with Homosexuality and pedophilia is just another mechanism used to continue the mass plague by making Sex "Bad", even though it is the primary driving force in every organism. Sex is the driving force, reproduction is a side effect, yet the Church forces the focus on Reproduction, thus inhibiting the person from truly experiencing the natural function of the Orgasm. Sex must be for Procreation only thay claim. No birth control ever! They demand. No Abortion, to make someone not ready to have a child feel guilty! Homosexuality a sin, even though it occurs in nature as animals start becoming sexually active and are exploring their newly found sexuality.

At this point in Human society, the connection to nature has been lost. Our instincts are manipulated and controlled by powerful interests, and the mechanisms they use are elegant, powerful and effective.

To bad it goes against who we really are, and promotes a society of walking dead people who no longer know how to live in harmony with the planet.
