Just because the Religious Right votes as a bloc doesn't mean they agree on every single doctrinal question. Maybe Pentecostals don't adhere to this doctrine; maybe some do but the Assembly of God does not.
I'm not trying to defend her crazy, fundamentalist sect. All I'm saying is that we should not operate on the assumption that the Religious Right is a monolithic group with beliefs that are absolutely uniform. If that were the case, they would all be one big denomination called "the Religious Right."
