Powell was probably asked to keep his resignation under wraps on until the election was over, which he did. Now he makes the announcement. There is one problem, the election is not over, with or without the media's medaling. Like a good soldier Powell kept his mouth shut and before anything is in concrete, this administration starts changing things for the worst.

Dr.(ha ha) Rice for Secretary of State, my ass! I hope she gets burned badly in the confirmation hearings.
