39. Why didn't they fire her a month ago when she first addressed the situation
Her lawyer and Fox lawyers had been arguing about this for several weeks until negotiations broke down. They knew all the details long before this ever went public but didn't make any effort to fire her. They thought they could intimidate her into going away and she would not be intimidated.
