I have "Dad Duty" this morning again. Should be back after the lunch-hour. If not have a great day and weekend! :hi:

Dow 10,031.75 -9.07 (-0.09%)
Nasdaq 1,819.47 -0.42 (-0.02%)

S&P 500 1,091.29 +0.06 (+0.01%)
10-yr Bond 4.209% -0.002
30-yr Bond 5.023% N/A

NYSE Volume 76,078,000
Nasdaq Volume 104,126,000

9:45AM: Stock market gets off to a sluggish start, slipping just under the unchanged mark in the opening action... Sellers have essentially taken their cue from yesterday's action - in which traders took light profits from the four sessions of gains... The catalysts for the initial weakness are essentially the same - crude oil is back at a new high (above $49/bbl off the fighting in the southern regions in Iraq) and earnings reports have been less than impressive...
Retailers like Gap (GPS 20.15) and Nordstrom (JWN 40.56) gave lackluster earnings reports last night, and as a result, the consumer discretionary shares are some of the weakest this morning...

edit for html and to add the side of blather
