10. Agree. However, IMO, what we think of as the physical causes problems that we think of as mental or
emotional more often than the other way around.

For example, I know of a woman who began experiencing headaches every day when she was around twelve. Her doctor attributed the headaches to stress. She continued to have them daily for years---until she hit menopause. Then, they stopped.

When she began taking hormone replacement pills, they began again, although they were not as intense as the headaches she had experience before menopause. When she stopped taking hormone replacement pills, the headaches stopped as well.

Apparently, all those years, she had been allergic to the hormones her own body was producing.

Sometimes, it would be more helpful if doctors said, "We don't know," as opposed to, "I know of no physical cause, so this must be stress or depression."
