Now, if the WH has said they'd release all the records (which I know they're now backing away from), the press is going to ask for this particular record until they get it.

And maybe McLellan thinks that Bush didn't need to take the physical, but the NG apparently felt he did, since they specifically suspended him for not taking it. It's good of McLellan to overrule the NG 30 years later for us.
