Well, when the dancing supremes stopped the fair and accurate recount of votes, the only alternative remaining was to march on Washington.

Gore would have had to encourage his supporters to rally in DC and remain there until a fair and accurate recount was completed. But would Gore supporters have marched?

Would Clinton have brought out the National Guard? Could the repukes have mustered a large enough crowd to counter the pro-vote count group?

There are a lot of ifs there. All we really know is these last eight years of hell might have been avoided if Gore or Kerry would have called together their supporters for a march.
