EXCITED about this election, but if it's close in November I suppose I will decide to vote! I know what my statement means, but my many years as a political activist, that once flamed like a bonfire, has now burned down to embers!

For sure it breaks my heart and I feel "lost and alone!" Too many Democrats can't or won't take the BULL BY THE HORNS letting the Repukes lie and cheat their way to the top of the mountain!

Add to the above, I live in one of the MOST Repuke counties in Florida (Sarasota) where a GOOD showing at any rally amounts to about 200 people... and most of them are pretty LIGHT compared to me!!! I'm a fish out of water and tired of hitting my head against the wall! This is the county that lost 18,000 plus votes in 2006 and despite some aggressive efforts by Democrats here, in the end. it was "more of the same old thing!" I've finally realized that I've been stuck by a PITCH FORK and have been forced to join the rest of "APATHETIC AMERICANS!" And before you get ALL JUDGMENTAL, my father introduced me to the world of politics way back in 1958 when I was 11!

I WILL however stay ready for a REVOLUTION, should one EVER emerge! I DO realize "you can't go back" and relive past history, but SOMETHING NEW could or should be created, because I believe America will spiral further down the proverbial RABBIT HOLE!
