11. Nomination polls are always inaccurate. But Democrats need to lead at this point, or we're sunk
In most presidential elections Democrats start with a big lead before the conventions and then it all tightens at the end. If Obama is 10 points down now, where do you suppose he'll be after the GOP convention in September? Which do-or-die states will he win to beat McCain? Ohio? Florida? He's not even competitive there.

The Democrats have gotten so much media attention this primary season that there's not much place for either of them to go up. McCain's been virtually ignored, and he's the one who can come back even stronger.

Our party is committing suicide in the one election served to us on a silver platter.
