"My guess is he's going to be working pretty hard" avoiding Cindy Sheehan, most likely.

I remember presidents who recognized their obligations during troubled times, and didn't feel it necessary to bug out on vacation then. Hell, I've seen general managers at radio stations where I worked who'd be in there, sleeves rolled up, working with the rest of us during crunch-time rather than being a no-show because it was vacation time. Fucking arrogant prick! And he's not "simply going to be gallivanting" but he will be traveling frequently, 'eh? The poster upthread who noted this as likely campaigning for fellow republi-CONS in trouble called this one correctly. And I'm sure with his girlfriend contradicta coming to spend the weekend, laura is heading down there fast-fast-fast.
