13. For what are the people supposed to pray?
Does the all knowing god need petitions to slay Lebanese? Does he not know the injustice and the lies of a president who stole the office are immoral and obscene as well as all the rest of his policies that have caused suffering, degradation and the loss of prestige of a nation that was once praised for it's humanitarian concerns? Does the god need to be petitioned to keep up the abuses of the 'enemy combatants" we are torturing? Petition the god by praying--but for what? A continuence of this barbarism, whuile others will state that all human beings are "god's children"?

I say this kind of sh*t is just plain nonsense and to give this war criminal, Bush, a platform upon which to further appeal to the dispensationalists, the cult of the "rapture" and the eagerly awaited "armageddon" in which the killing of millions will be processed by this gentle, all knowing god, (not) and those who follow that, are dancing in joy at the killings and murders of little babies and children because soon they will be in heaven. So kill them all, so heaven will be a certain thing for them. They actuallty love the killing--it signifies their place in heaven.
