I also agree with the poster who thought it was inappropriate for a college teacher to have sex with a student.

A 20-year-old student came onto me when I was a 26-year-old instructor. In one conversation, I calmly explained to him that I would never have a relationship with a student. Unfortunately, he didn't internalize what I said, and when he made an inappropriate comment to me on another occasion after class, I did not stifle a laugh. I have always regretted that I wasn't able to restrain myself because I didn't want to hurt him (he definitely had emotional issues), but at least he got the message that I wasn't interested.
