93. and his "no comment" on the investigation/probable indictments
is getting weaker by the day

yesterday - he got a bit snippy with reporters when asked if he would fire the leakers

just my 2-cents - during the time the leak was going on, most of the media just took dictation from the bushies, they gleefully sang the chorus of WMDs and there was no real "investigative reporting" going on. Their information came from the white house. So there wasn't any sleuthing where a reporter would have "dug up" the information as to Wilson's wife's CIA identity - it had to come from the white house

One of the "excuses" reporters used regarding getting information was that the white house was very tight-lipped and it was difficult to get anything out of them. Any information reporters received was carefully screened before being released.

So Plame's identity was not a case of "oops, shouldn't have said that" - it was planned and planted.

Most of us are convinced that at least Rove and Libby played a big part in directly leaking the info. bush* did say he would fire anyone leaking, then changed it to "fire anyone convicted" -- and now he's mr. no-comment

Where's the honor and dignity he was suppose to bring back?
