This sorry act ostensibly by 'jihadists' only serves to beg further the question so appropriately raised by Bernard Lewis in his book What Went Wrong ?

Indeed, what positive view of Islam are we to receive from these acts of terror ? What is Islam's answer to the Western world's supposed challenge to Islamic supremacy ? I must agree with Irsad Manji (author of The Trouble With Islam) and in fact seek out her comments on this stain to her faith.
