It included a law that parents must give written permission for girls under 18 to have abortions. There already WAS a parental notification law. But girls were allowed to go to a judge for permission if their situation warranted it. Further restrictions on late term abortions were also included.
Even some Texas Republicans are tired of this fool. The primary election for Governor may be interesting. If Kaye Bailey Hutchison actually announces she will run, people have been predicting the conflict may damage Texas Republicans. Let's hope!
