There aren't many "neocons" in FBI Counter-Intelligence (CI). The CI people at FBI, DIA and CIA tend to be old-fashioned conservative types. For years, they've been raising serious questions about divided loyalties and actual espionage by Perle and his circle. There haven't been many actual prosecutions until now because of the enormous political influence wielded by Israel and its U.S. supporters.

Iraq, and Likud's role in fabricating bad intelligence and manipulating policy, has led to a real outrage within the national security community. The prospect of an even bloodier debacle in Iran has provoked more or less open infighting in Washington.

The OSP-AIPAC scandal is part of this struggle.
