Reply #268: this issue goes beyond ideology

so many times I see issues divide along party lines, republican or democrat, conservative or liberal. yet I always thought women issues actually made strange bed fellows, pardon the pun. Conservative/religious value folks who are appalled at things such as "bitches and hos" in rap videos and feminists who do not like to see women demeaned or seen as sexual objects fight against this culture. It has also brought together liberals and conservatives who are more "libertarian minded" and of course horny guys on both sides who like to see women treated this way. As a moderate 19 year old, I must say this culture we live in has gotten out of hand, maybe im old fashioned. Then again, maybe thats why I dont have a girlfriend
