DAVENPORT, Iowa Court records show bankers are foreclosing on the Clarion Hotel in downtown Davenport.

A receiver is appointed to look after the 135-room hotel as the foreclosure moves forward. Mutual Bank of Harvey, Illinois will sell the hotel at an auction to satisfy outstanding debts.The hotel closed November 12th.The hotel's manager had said closing was necessary because of a banking problem expected to be resolved in a matter of days.
