If he asks for more money for that war that the people are growing more and more uncertain about, while their jobs and retirement funds are evaporating in the wind, they're gonna wonder why that money he's asking for - ISN'T going into MUCH-NEEDED job creation programs. And that will be very good news for us. I'm sure there will be at least some out there who will be thinking - "uh, if we can find all that extra money to prop up the war, why aren't we helping our own? We need jobs here!" I'd bet that's where a lot of people are going to go, perhaps after giving him a slight initial bump in the polls. It's all gonna deflate yet again right away. Especially if Dean and other emboldened Dems come out swinging again right afterwards.
