Reply #16: How long has CFS been documented as an illness and has anyone been following a curve?

As a disable veteran of three wars, I've kept up with fellow vets that have been in and out of the VA due to vague illnesses that can't be diagnosed clinically, especially in the current Iraq-Afghan War, including my daughter, also a Gulf War vet. Off note here: one of her children has Goldenhar Syndrome, a birth defect that studies found in precipitously higher numbers in veterans returning from the first Gulf War. In a journal rant a year ago, I blamed depleted uranium, a radiological agent that was used in the Gulf Wars and Bosnia. I'm just wondering how much more prevalent CFS is now than in previous years and if it's been increasing steadily? We've been poisoning our environment with so many different toxins in the last century. It would be no wonder if our bodies are rebelling.
