It's like their best buddy got caught in public, doing what they knew he was doing in private. They must be so angry with him for getting caught! :eyes:

I suppose they think that this will make people forget who armed him and entertained him and helped improve his image etc.

None of these brutal dictators would have lasted a year had it not been for the backing of these Western nations.

So often they then have to go in and 'deal' with them when they publicly show their true colors. Shame on France for ignoring the problems in favor of profits until it was shoved in the face of the world.

But, they have interests to protect now and that is what they are doing.

Meantime, the brutal government of Bahrain is mowing down its protesters, same thing in Yemen, but there will be no 'international' agreement to protect them. We are still BFF with both those brutal leaders.
