83. PBS has some good shows.
One of my favorite news shows is Ian Masters on KPFK radio in the late afternoon, early evening in LA.

Another is Democracy Now.

I also like Thom Hartmann.

But in terms of just news, Ian Masters and Democracy Now do great reporting. They are not half-hour news programs, however. They report big stories through interviews. They do in-depth reports that are great.
