260. Yup. The middle class isn't happy at all.
Maybe I'm reading my own personal opinions into the vote tonight, but I think it was primarily a voter reaction against misplaced priorities - democrats have become obsessed with health care, seemingly at the expense of everything else. Voters want to see more action on the economy, job creation, and even the deficit. Much more. And voters are not too fond of what's next on the table either - cap & trade, for example? Please! It may be a little counterintuitive and even self-destructive to then go and vote for someone who basically promises to do nothing, but it's the only way the people have of sending a message. Let's hope the Democrats got it.
