... are equal-opportunity SUV-haters, not specific to US-built ones. The digs at the US car industries are - as you well know - about their lack of sensible response to not only the oil supply issue but also to their economically superior foreign competitors.
The main dig is to those city/suburb-living morons who buy SUVs (from whatever country) simply as a sign that they have more money than brains and more pennies than penis.
