Comments far worse than Imus' have been spewed in recent days, yet the MSM has been reporting on it like the Pope himself said it.
Were his comments rude, racist and offensive? Of course. But the "controversy" we're seeing now seems a bit too contrived IMHO.
Where was the 24-7 coverage of Couter's "faggot" remarks about Edwards, Gore and Bill Clinton? No one fired Limbaugh over his own racist comments. But Imus says something and the world is coming to an end.
