Your account of US policy towards Cuba for the PAST nearly 50 years is by far the most accurate. Why Americans continue to delude themselves over partisanship on this is actually more sickening than the conscious propagandists pushing Cuban exile disinformation.

Oh I keep forgeting, the US doesn't have political parties, they have two political institutions -- which makes them only 1 better than the Cubans themselves, which ONLY have one political institution -- the communist party.

One can understand that Castro is a dictator because Castro, one man, has remained in power and as such it is understandable why this 'one man' hasn't changed his opinion much. However, the same can't be said for the US which has had a succession of political leaders from different political backgrounds ALL arriving at the same conclusion about Cuba -- again and again.

Again, what advanced country in the modern era even HOLDS a longstanding grudge against an small island? What other advanced country in modern times would possibly think that it's 'under threat' from such a place?

Truly deluded and indicative of a sick political culture which stop developing well over a hundred years ago.
